Description

During the activity, you’ll connect with the Arctic wilderness and feel the quiet, calming peace of nature. You’ll learn about Finland’s rich outdoor culture and ‘Everyman’s Right’ – the unique rights everyone has in Finland’s nature.

The activity starts by the lakeside, and then we’ll go ice fishing on the frozen lake. If we’re lucky and catch some fish, we can cook them over an open fire.

After fishing, we’ll take a short drive to a cozy campfire spot where you’ll enjoy a local lunch, cooked over an open fire, followed by a traditional sweet dessert. Finally, admire the winter landscapes from a forest viewpoint.

After all this, you will have lived a day like a local and experienced traditional food foraging and cooking in the wild.
