Description

Hike with hosts along a 1.5-kilometer forest trail to Hyyppää, a scenic hill with steep cliffs and wide views over Lake Lievestuore and the surrounding forest landscape.

Along the way, you’ll hear stories about the area’s ancient natural history, shaped by Ice Age forces.

At the top, we’ll take time to slow down and enjoy a cozy forest picnic featuring local snacks and warm drinks. You’ll have time to breathe in the fresh air, take photos, and just be, surrounded by the calm power of the landscape.

Then we return down the same 1.5-kilometer route, feeling restored by the forest and inspired by one of Finland’s most stunning hidden gems.

Please note, this trail is challenging and requires good basic physical condition due to the elevation gain.

This tour operates rain or shine, unless there are extreme weather conditions. Please dress appropriately.

Arrival at the destination by your own car or private transportation is required (32 km from Jyväskylä).

Please note that there is no electricity there, so bring a power bank if you need to charge your phone.
